Rotary Radio Night

A huge thank you to Dee Robison for the terrific job done with Rotary Radio Night. With all his efforts we were able to reach our goal of $4,000. Also, thanks to those Rotarians who helped Monday with the actual broadcast. And to those Senior Rotarians who help. Everyone always seems to have a good time reading the advertisements and have a better appreciation of those who do this for a living. A special thank you to Bill Hodge Dodge for hosting the broadcast and KITO for donating the air time.

Rotarian of the Day: Bob Young

Bob Young was born in Vinita, and graduated from Vinita High School & N. E. Technology in 1978. In 1979, He went to work for Bartgis Chevrolet as a body man. He joined Cable One in 1988 . Don Daniels was Bob’s sponsor in 2002. Bob is married to Lahona and they have two children. Scott & Kevin Young. Bob’s hobbies include hunting fishing and golf.

Today’s Program

Today’s program will be on the proposed new Water Treatment Plant for the City of Vinita. It will be presented, hopefully, by our own esteemed Charlie Enyart. He will also address all of the “letters to the editor” in The Journal concerning this topic. This may take awhile.
