Steven Chase was born in Vinita, Oklahoma at Craig General Hospital and is the son of Jay and Betty Chase. He is a graduate of Vinita High School and played both football and baseball for the Hornets. Both Steven's grandfather and father played football for the Hornets. After graduating from VHS, Steven attended the University of Oklahoma as well as Moore Norman Technology Center. After college, Steven went on to earn several Information Technology industry certifications including certifications from Microsoft and Cisco.

Steven is married to Leslye Simmons, his high school sweetheart and they will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary next March. They have one child, their daughter Emma Grace Chase who is 7 years old and attends Cowboy Junction Christian School. She will be in the 2^ndgrade this year.

Steven began his career in Information Technology at Moore Norman Technology Center in Norman, OK. He has worked for Northeast Oklahoma Electric Cooperative and also held the position of Director of Technology for Cushing Public Schools in Cushing, OK. In 2007, Steven, his wife Leslye and daughter Emma moved back home when Steven accepted the position of Information Systems Director for Craig General Hospital where he is still serving in this role. Steven will also begin teaching Information Technology courses this fall for Northeast Oklahoma Technology Center in Pryor, OK.
