This committee assists with the promotion of our Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest at the local high school. Committee members also assist with judging the speech contest.

This committee assists with the promotion of our annual fundraiser(s) to support the Salvation Army's Backpack Program, which is a program that helps to feed hungry school children. This committee also assists with the coordination and purchase of food in mass quantity for donation to the Backpack Program.

This committee requires fun-loving Rotarians who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty! This committee coordinates activities of the Vinita Rotary Club's cooking team (including taste-testing for "recipe perfection" in Vinita's annual Calf Fry Festival.

This committee coordinates with the Rotary Club of Tulsa to identify local high school juniors who would be good candidates to attend Camp Enterprise, an intensive three-day program of instruction, competition and teamwork. Through interaction with business executives and entrepreneurs, participating students are introduced to the challenges and opportunities of the free enterprise system. From successful business leaders, they learn the value of hard work and dedication; and learn, too, that they can be successful in whatever career they pursue if they apply the principles that the business speakers have learned from years of experience.

This committee coordinates and plans the annual club Christmas Party.

This committee coordinates with the annual spring "clean up" day in Vinita. Committee members assist the elderly, disabled, and those without adequate transportation hauling off items from their yards. This committee is also one of those that you can't mind getting dirty doing!

In 2005, the Vinita Rotary Club built the Concession Stand at the Bill Morgan Sports Complex in Vinita for our Rotary Centennial Project. This project is much more than a concession stand, and also includes bathrooms and an upstairs press box. Hundreds of children, parents, coaches and spectators visit the Sports Complex each year. Baseball tournaments are hosted with visitors coming from near and far to enjoy the facilities. Our club assists with the maintenance of this Concession Stand at the sports complex.

This committee coordinates with representatives at our local elementary schools throughout Craig County to order new dictionaries for every 3^rd grader, 3^rd grade teacher and school library in the county. The committee also assists with placing personalized labels in the front of each of the dictionaries and assists with delivering the dictionaries to the students.

Each Rotarian on this committee commits to contribute at least $100 yearly to the Rotary Foundation. This committee should also assist our Club Foundation Chair in Rotary Foundation promotion.

This committee assists with the planning, development, organization and conduct of our annual Rotary Golf Tournament, which is one of our biggest fundraisers.

These committee members assist with maintenance during scheduled "work days" (usually 1-2 times per year) at the Hornet's Nest Playground, a community playground located on the grounds of Hall Halsell Elementary School. The Vinita Rotary Club helped to construct this playground in 1993.

This committee coordinates with Craig General Hospital and the Craig County Health Department to provide packets of information for the hospital to give to parents of all newborns, promoting timely vaccinations.

This committee coordinates with the librarians at our local elementary schools to order new, age-appropriate books for the school libraries. The committee also assists with placing Rotary labels in the front of each of the books and meets as a committee to present the books to the librarians and school children.

This committee coordinates the collection of change in designated donation collection boxes around town. Committee members then take the change for counting and deposit. All money collected supports the Medical Supplies Network.

This committee coordinates and helps to conduct our quarterly New Member Orientation sessions.

This committee promotes club contribution to the Rotary PolioPlus Program, which works toward polio eradication. Each year, the committee distributes coin collection cards to our membership. Each member is asked to fill the card with quarters (or to return it with cash), to total $10 each.

This committee coordinates all activities associated with Rotary Radio Night, which is the biggest fundraiser we have, designated completely for our Senior Scholarship Fund. Committee members help coordinate ad sales and also assist as Rotary "dee jays".

This committee coordinates with the local high school to identify students who would be good candidates to attend Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards). At workshops and camps, the RYLA participants develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while having fun and making new friends. Committee members also help arrange transportation for the RYLA participants to and from camp.

These committee members volunteer to represent our club and "Ring the Bell" for the Salvation Army in the weeks prior to Christmas.

This committee assists with the selection of Senior Rotarians (based on applications received). The committee also assists with the Senior Scholarship Award Selection each May.

This committee coordinates with the Rotary Club of Tulsa to make a $1,000 club contribution each year to fund the drilling of a water well in a country where potable water is unavailable.
